Make short work of a host of outdoor cleaning projects from washing the car to cleaning out eaves with the Karcher K 2.28 electric pressure washer. Compactly designed and weighing just 13 pounds, this German-engineered unit delivers up to 1550 PSI/1.3 GPM of power for up to 30 times more pressure than a garden hose while table saw using 80-percent less water. To choose the appropriate amount of pressure, simply attach one of the two included cleaning wands and turn the dial on the front of the unit. The Vario Power Spray wand works well for all-around cleaning while the patented DirtBlaster increases the effective pressure by 50-percent for more heavy-duty tasks.

Additional features include a total stop function on the trigger so the motor only runs while water is spraying, a child safety lock, and a maintenance-free motor and direct-drive axial pump. The siphon tube automatically dispenses detergent in the proper ratio (Karcher recommends using the SoapPac line of detergents), and the 20-foot hose combined with a 35-foot power cord gives the washer plenty of reach. This table-saw model is also compatible with a wide variety of Karcher accessories, including the Deck and Driveway Cleaner, Rotating Wash Brush, Wheel Rim Brush and more. It carries a one-year limited warranty. Everything attached very easily. The pressure (1550 psi) was enough to get the dirt off my gutters/soffit/siding and clean my pavement without cleaner or detergent. It’s also strong enough with the adjustable wand on max setting to clean decking, but yet gentle enough to not damage the wood. I did notice a little fraying when using the cleaning wand, but not much. One note: while this unit DOES have a siphon tube for using detergents or cleaning solutions, I didn’t use any, so I can’t comment on how well this feature performs.

One drawback, which would apply to any electric PW, is that if you’re going to move around a large area (cleaning gutters/siding around a house, etc.), it’s a real challenge to keep the supply hose, electrical cord (and any extensions), and washer hose untangled as you move from location to location. That said, it’s a relatively minor inconvenience. But this unit comes in really handy for the small jobs. It doesn’t take up much space, and so far it’s done everything I’ve wanted it to. I’m very pleased with this product, especially at the price I paid.

This speaker is good for this price only. Any higher and it would make it not worth it. I’ll review it based on the price first. The build quality of the car audio frame looks very good. Feels like it’ll last for a long time. The woofers are said made of polypropylene which feels like heavy paper. Again for the price, it’s good.

As for the sound, for the price again, it sounds acceptable. You will probably not find any better sounding speaker at this price. This doesn’t have any circuitry (crossover) behind the speaker at all, hence the front only picture. The back side of the speaker has some “cheap” feel to it but I’m guessing that’s necessary for their price target.

Now comparing it to a slightly more expensive competition, to a yamaha priced at $20 dollars higher (IW280C). The sound of this is lacking bass and clarity comparing to the yamaha’s. I compared them side by side using same cable and on the floor before install. This pyle performed acceptable though considering it doesn’t have crossover behind it but still way below yamaha’s especially in terms of clarity. On yamaha you could hear vibrating guitar strings clearly and as well as the swoosh of the wind blowing while on pyle the same things are not as audible.

Now for people looking for very shallow round speaker, this is for you. It’s only 3.5 inch deep because of lack of circuitry behind (crossover). You won’t find any shallower round speaker than that. Me, I had special need for shallow one and this one fit perfect.

Now, the 2 stars, it’s because it performed significantly lower than the slightly expensive competition. Maybe 4 times lower. It’s not angled speakers (a must for surround), no circuitry behind (to help on sound routing), paper-like woofers (easier to blow out), not enough bass (for deeper feel), not enough richness (for hi def feel), and cheap wire connectors (to make good signal transfer). Not worth the $20 savings against yahama’s cheapest model.

For less than $50, these are an audio-system outstanding deal – cheaper than what I could have bought at Home Depot/Lowes. Wanted a set of white inexpensive ceiling speakers for the formal dining room – wife holds occassional card games and other women group functions in there and wanted some background music. These Pyle speakers were perfect: inexpensive, sounds good (though it does lack bass – but hey when you get a gaggle of women playing cards they don’t care or appreciate the fact that the bass level is lacking). Very easy to install (it takes more time to run the speaker wiring up in the attic than to install the speakers). Make sure you have a wall board hand saw, a good stud finder (make sure there are no studs located on the other side of the ceiling where you want to install the speakers), and a Shop Vac (for the clean up). I would definitely buy these again and would recommend them.

I am very happy with this purchase and the matching bathroom lights I ordered as well. Looks great in my hallway with my new paint! Perfect match with the brushed bronze. And the prices were great on these. I paid far less online than I was finding them in stores.

I ordered a couple of these for a new home office. One thing my electrician mentioned was that the fixture didn’t work properly with the provided nuts for attaching it to the wall using a standard round box, so he had to use screws instead. Other than that, I’ve seen fixtures at 3x the price that didn’t look any better than these. I purchased a set of two of these sconces.
